For many years I have been using sex video sites to fulfill my fetish of pads and tampons. I ask a girl if she is having her menstrual period and if she is then we go private or exclusive and have a session. Tried to use streamate last night and found out there was a problem with my account. Contacted them and was told that I was banned because of 'menstruation and blood'.

Apparently a lot of the "mainstream" cam sites aren't entirely kink friendly and if they discover that someone is going for anything that's not completely "vanilla" they'll close your account. There's another site now called MyFetishLive that aims to cater to the kind of things mainstream cam sites won't, but I'm not sure if they allow menstrual content or not. Given that they were basically created by camgirls who left KinkLive after some changes were made there when it left beta, I would be surprised if they didn't allow it since the inability to get into more niche kinks was one of the things that drove them to form their own site in the first place. Sorry to hear about Streammate though. I do find it kind of paradoxical that the porn industry can be so puritanical at times even after it's suffered the most (at least in the US,) from attacks by people with puritanical ideologies.

I have also been using that site for years and would hate to get banned. I hope they have not changed their policies. It would be strange just when periods are becoming less of a taboo subject. As I understand it, liquid blood is not allowed but I never ask for that, only see wearing pads and used ones. There are plenty of used pad videos on Clips4sale too without any issues.
I never type the "M" word and also only go to E European or Russian girls as they seem to be more comfortable with the subject and are probably less likely to report a user if they dont like being asked about it.

I'm not too familiar with Streamate, so I can't say for sure if they've changed their policies or not. C4S apparently has a similar and equally contrived policy though: Liquid blood is completely unallowed, but visible menstrual pads and tampon strings are supposedly okay. Showing off a used pad with menstrual blood on it however is supposedly prohibited in material available for download from their site. Here's where things get tricky and a little weird though: While C4S will ban members who host videos that show blood, including menstrual blood in them, at least one model in Canada supposedly came up with a workaround that's spared her account there so far. What she'll do is upload a short "preview" video that doesn't show any menstrual blood, and then have the person who purchased it contact her so that she can send them the full video with the menstrual blood overtly visible in it. Apparently C4S is turning a blind eye to this because the video with the menstrual blood isn't being hosted on their servers even though the preview video is. While this seems really stupid and backwards, at least it's one workaround that seems to be allowed for the time being.
I agree that it's strange to go after period porn just as periods are becoming much less taboo than they used to be. I've also found that outside of cam sites on places like tumblr, you're much more likely to find women residing the US who are more than willing to do some custom period porn for their fans, and who are completely comfortable with talking about their periods in a way they wouldn't have been ten or 15 years ago. While we're not quite at the same level of Eastern Europe or Russia yet when it comes to period porn not being too taboo, we do seem to be moving in that direction, which I believe is a good thing.

But on C4S there are many videos available for download with used pads shown. Many in the "Pad Bulge" category. There are several models who regularly post these videos.
If they have made a distintion between used pads and liquid blood though, and the cam sites also have done this, then this is kind of reassuring.

It's my understanding that C4S has no problems with "pad bulges" that involve used pads, or with the back of a used pad being shown or anything like that. Where they apparently take issue is if you can see the blood visible on the front of the pad, or if a tampon change involves showing the used tampon. I can't find the link to the video that I mentioned anymore, but it was basically a full pad/tampon change complete with masturbation during this one woman's period, and apparently C4S took issue with that, so she just put a short version on C4S and had people who bought the video contact her so she could send them the full version to avoid upsetting TPTB at C4S. The only thing I can think of is that the actual act of masturbating during your period was somehow considered "liquid blood," but that seems really crazy. I'm guessing that C4S is a little more lenient than some sites, but from what I've seen, won't allow anything with a lot of blood in it even if it's menstrual blood, which is kind of funny when you think about it.
