I know it's not something that will happen to you tomorrow, but it's not as far off as it was. According to www.webmd.com/menopause/guide/menopause-information most women hit perimenopause around age 47, with menopause a few years later.
My question is, what is your attitude toward your forthcoming (though not for some years) menopause? Do you dread it as a sign of getting older? Or welcome the prospect of it--no more mess, no more cramps, no more shopping for tampons or pads, etc.? (Of course one reason some women--and their male partners!--find menopause a relief, "no more worries about birth control" probably isn't terribly relevant to you, LOL.) Or do you just not think about it--"when it happens it'll happen"?
