In what must be one of 2022's strangest media reports about menstruation, according to the Daily Mail, an American couple "track their daughters' menstrual cycles so they can make them 'period boards' - filled with essentials to get them through their time of the month like chocolate, medicine, and pads. Tifany Allen-Ciota, 52, and Michael Ciota, 62, from Houston, Texas, first came up with the idea as a 'joke' - but now, they go as far as using apps on their phones to keep track of when their two daughters are going to start their cycles. And according to the couple, it's a complete success. Not only do the 'period boards' help their daughters feel better during that time of the month, but it also helps their dad Michael 'understand what they are going through'. [Hmm, I would have thought he might have worked that out from being married to their mother...] 'One [daughter] likes pads and the other prefers tampons,' she explained. 'We include whatever they want on there to help get them through'." Maybe I could understand this approach if their daughters were teenagers who had just started menstruating. So how old are they? Turns out they're 30 and 18, lol. www.msn.com/en-gb/lifestyle/other/couple-tracks-daughters-menstrual-cycles-makes-them-period-boards/ar-AA140H5b?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=85e34e77c2b04a8db3c2f32873532c89
