For the first time in its 146-year history, Wimbledon has relaxed its "all white" rule to allow female players to wear non-white undergarments. There's some interesting comments in this article: "Elena Rybakina wore dark shorts during her match against Shelby Rogers, who also opted for the dark garments. 'I think it's good to have an option, but the same time I was also fine with all white,' Rybakina told reporters afterwards. 'I think changes are good, and we still have the same tradition to be in full white. It's just maybe little adjustment. Overall I think it's good, yeah.' Aryna Sabalenka and Panna Udvardy also embraced black garments while competing against each other. ... "While stars such as Rybakina and Azarenka embraced the rules, other tennis stars shared concerns that the outfit choice would be a tell-tale sign that players are on their period, arguing that it would be better for all women to wear black. 'One thing, it's better definitely not to be paranoid. And the other thing, everybody will know that you have your period. So I'm not sure which part of it is good,' Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur said. 'I think I don't think I'm going to wear anything. If all the girls will wear it, I think it will make it better'."
